NXTware Studio brings the Eclipse IDE to a variety of legacy is platforms while serving as the foundation for the NXTware family of Integrated Maintenance Environments. NXTware Studio is a version of Eclipse customized to support non-Windows/Linux operating systems and legacy middleware platforms.

NXTware Studio can be used independently or as a workbench for the NXTware maintenance  framework to update, integrate and modernize valuable legacy applications.

Introducing NXTware Studio

NXTware Studio is an integrated development environment for OpenVMS, HP-UX, IBM AIX, SUN and LINUX. In NXTware Studio, eCube provides the standard Eclipse platform for contemporary development and wizards that simplify Web services development with AXIS2. NXTware Studio also includes tooling that enables developers to create Web 2.0 composite applications (see NXTware DFI).

eCube offers enterprise subscriptions for NXTware Studio, targeting Java developers supporting legacy OS development or integration. Under the subscription, eCube will regularly test and certify third-party plug-ins for use with NXTware Studio on supported platforms. Support for C/C++ and COBOL (Eclipse CDT) will be available in both the RPC and CORBA versions of eCube's NXTware IME (Integrated Maintenance Environment).
