eCube Announces Replacement Technology for Delphi and C++Builder Entera Provider with NXTera

Subscription soon available for the NXTera Provider Bundle - a replacement for Entera Provider used in popular RAD development tools.

Houston , TX . – Dec 15 :eCube Systems, a leading provider of middleware modernization, integration and management technology, announced today that it will provide an update and replacement technology bundle for the Entera Provider component used in Delphi and C++Builder.

The NXTera Provider Bundle will include an updated Entera Provider (now NXTera Provider) component for use in Delphi and C++Builder as well as a license NXTera RPC middleware for Windows servers. This new NXTera component allows users to extend and update applications to new platforms and versions of Delphi and C++Builder. eCube is providing the NXTera Provider Bundle to select clients and Embarcadero partners prior to release. eCube plans to announce general availability in January, 2011.

The NXTera Provider Bundle allows developers and organizations to easily create high-speed RPC data and function calls for use in Delphi and C++Builder applications. The product will be delivered in the form of a support and maintenance subscription. This ensures that developers have the flexibility they need to support new versions of Embarcadero RAD development tools and contemporary hardware and operating systems as they become available.

The NXTera Provider Bundle consists of the NXTera Provider for Delphi and C++Builder and a license for NXTera RPC Middleware for Windows. This version of NXTera supports Delphi, C++ and C# server logic. The standard version of NXTera includes the NXTera Provider and extends licensed server-side support to C, FORTRAN and COBOL on UNIX, LINUX and MacOS.

The NXTera Provider Bundle's annual subscription is projected to be available on the eCube Web Site for download in Q1 2011. The subscription cost is projected to be $365 US.
