GSA Grants Multiple Award Schedule Contract to eCube Systems
Houston, Texas. June 30, 2006
eCube Systems, LLC, the leader in Enterprise Evolution and Legacy Modernization announces that it has been granted a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA.) The contract enables government agencies to procure eCube’s Legacy Modernization products and services quickly and cost-effectively. eCube’s products and services are available immediately through GSA contract number GS-35F-0484S.
The General Services Administration evaluated eCube’s professional capabilities, corporate structure, performance history, and customer satisfaction when awarding the contract. Under the five-year agreement, eCube will be listed as a preferred government-approved vendor that can provide powerful enterprise evolution and modernization offerings to federal, state, and local governments.
"We are delighted to receive this GSA contract," commented Kevin Barnes, President and Managing Partner of eCube Systems. "eCube has been leading the way in Enterprise Evolution and legacy modernization in the private sector since 2002. We look forward to providing government agencies with the same affordable alternatives to expensive re-engineering and integration that we have successfully delivered to our commercial customers for years."
eCube Systems' success in the private sector extends to virtually every industry, including aerospace, financial, utilities, insurance, retail and hospitality. Now, through the GSA contract, eCube's government clients will be able to accelerate evaluation and purchasing processes, and expedite the acquisition of solutions critical to their success.
eCube products and services enable composite solutions that allow organizations to extend the life of their existing technology investments, making it possible for them to contribute and participate in contemporary frameworks, such as service-oriented architecture (SOA) and the enterprise service bus (ESB) model. These capabilities allow eCube clients to migrate, modernize, and replace legacy systems in a phased (i.e., as needed) manner.
These capabilities are available through the company's NXTware Evolution Server, and its Assessment, Remediation and Modernization (ARM) service process. ARM enables the successful modernization of legacy applications written in Cobol, Fortran, C, C++, Pascal and other legacy languages on a large variety of platforms, including mainframes, Unix, Linux, OpenVMS, MPE and Unisys.
